ELIA Life Technology, PBC develops assistive products for people who have visual impairments.
The company has designed a new tactile font, called ELIA Frames, that is an alternative to braille (for the 97% of the blind or low vision who cannot read braille). ELIA Life is also creating a tactile graphical printer, a tactile keyboard, and a tactile computer display. The suite of products will enable consumers to achieve greater levels of education, employment, literacy, and independence.
