Faris Al-Shathir is co-founder of BOFFO, a nonprofit organization that presents innovative and experimental art, architecture, and design. BOFFO Fire Island Art & Ecology Center is an initiative dedicated to the transformation of the historic Carrington House and adjacent landscapes into a space that fosters the creative spirit of artists while giving the public a chance to experience the art, ecology, and culture of the region.
