Eulani Labay
Eulani Labay is a designer and strategist who creates experiences alongside the people most impacted by them. She specializes in identifying and meeting people’s needs in engaging ways, by drawing from a participatory process and a background in storytelling and the arts. She is experienced with influencing systems on the community, national, and international scales. Her work has tapped teens’ imaginations to reverse the food-desert status of the South Bronx; encouraged media makers to spark social movements through their art; developed veteran-centered experiences in military-to-civilian transition and primary care; channeled children’s gameplay to manage disease in developing countries; and supported the responsible AI practices of software development teams. Eulani holds an MFA in Transdisciplinary Design from Parsons School of Design and has previously led courses at NEW INC, the Center for Leadership Development, Made in NY Media Center, the Magnum Foundation, and The New School.
