Partner and Chief strategist at Unified Field, an international strategic innovation firm that consults on and builds media experiences for major brands and cultural organizations. He has forty years’ experience in design communication, interactive media, storytelling, and advanced technologies. As an independent journalist he writes about legible cities — the humanistic smart city, cultural trends, and museums of the 21st century. A graduate of Cooper Union, he was a curator at South Street Seaport Museum, and the Texas State Maritime Museum, the director of technology at Ralph Appelbaum Associates, and a board member of the Industry Applications Board for Columbia University’s Center for Advance Technology. He is currently the chair of the Arts Innovation Advisory Group for the Brooklyn Arts Council, and a co-host of Art Movez, a radio show on WNYE 91.5 FM, about art, innovation, and social justice. He knows how to bring big ideas to life.
