Alice Grandoit-Šutka and Isabel Flower

Alice Grandoit-Šutka is a research-based designer, host, publisher, and cofounder and editor-in-chief of Deem Journal. Over the past 15 years she has developed an expansive practice that is equal parts experimental, referential, and relational, existing at the intersections of the arts, community engagement, and food. Among these expressions, Alice is interested in building infrastructures for convening that open up our capacity to feel deeply and orient towards liberatory futures. 

Isabel Flower is a NY-based editor and writer and executive editor of Deem Journal. She was formerly associate editor of Artforum Magazine and executive editor of Cultured Magazine. She is coauthor, with Marcel Rosa-Salas, of The Nameplate: Jewelry, Culture, and Identity (forthcoming with Clarkson-Potter, 2023) and cohost of the Top Rank podcast.
