Ṭaüs Jafar is a musician, transdisciplinary artist, and non-dualist teacher.

In their art practice, which to date involves sound design, installation, social-experiment, and visual art, Ṭaüs thematically weaves together questions pertaining to social-spatial connectivity, perceptual and sensual acuity, joy, and stream-of-consciousness creativity. Their work has been featured in multiple cities and institutions. They are an Ideas City and NEW INC (at New Museum, NYC) alumna.

Ṭaüs received a B.A. in Government - with departmental honors and magna cum laude thesis honors - from Harvard University and returned on a Presidential Merit Scholarship for a Master’s degree from Harvard’s Graduate School of Design. Their thesis research, overseen by philosopher and physicist Peter Galison, explored the potential for building intentional peace-affirming experiences and processes into the spatial and socio-cultural fabric of American cities. This exploration is ongoing."
