Mark Belinsky
Mark Belinsky is an entrepreneur and creative technologist currently at UNDP as an Innovation and Scaling Specialist in the Chief Digital Office. His work is centered around interaction design between people and the technologies they use to solve large-scale problems. As CEO and co-founder of a startup, Birdi, he shipped life-saving hardware until the company was profitably acquired. As co-founder of NGO, Digital Democracy, he's contributed to innovations in tech for good for over a decade. Across domains like smart home IoT, interactive media, international development, consumer packaged goods, cybersecurity, and blockchain, he’s raised venture funding, developed partnerships & represented companies in the media. He’s shared these experiences as a speaker at SXSW, Tribeca Film Festival, and Hackers on Planet Earth, as a guest on BBC, Al-Jazeera, and NPR, lecturing at Harvard, Columbia, and NYU, and consulting with several heads of state & Fortune 200 companies.
