Luisa Pereira
Luisa Pereira is a musician, artist, and engineer based in Brooklyn.
Her interactive music pieces have been shown internationally: venues include the Museum of Contemporary Art in Santiago de Chile, the Loop Summit in Berlin, and the New Museum's art and technology incubator in New York City.
As a creative technologist, Pereira has created a range of boundary-pushing musical installations and experiments in New York City, working with clients such as Google Creative Lab, Pandora, and Listen on collaborations with musicians including Björk, St. Vincent, Julianna Barwick and Little Dragon.
As an educator, she has developed curricula for the NYC Department of Education and the Processing Foundation. Pereira is assistant professor at NYU Tisch's ITP / IMA, and has also taught in Shanghai, Berlin and Montevideo.
