Laura Hertzfeld

Laura Hertzfeld is an Emmy-winning producer, writer, and editor focused on bringing impactful stories to life in new ways. She most recently was director of the XR Partner Program at Yahoo Ryot Lab, working with news organizations to develop engaging AR and VR content. Hertzfeld was a 2018-2019 John S. Knight Journalism Fellow at Stanford University, where she studied the intersection of art, immersive storytelling, and journalism. Hertzfeld previously led Journalism 360, an immersive storytelling initiative from Google News Lab, Knight Foundation, and ONA. She has held leadership roles at EW.com and PBS.org and was an editor on the original Yahoo News team. She is a graduate of Barnard College, Columbia University.
