Kristin Gutekunst
Kristin is an expert in developing and executing ambitious multi-stakeholder programs for sustainable development with a specialty in advocacy, communication, immersive media production and event planning. Her 14 year career includes an expansive network across the United Nations, tech, creative, youth and grassroots organizations. She is a meticulous planner and visionary strategist, adept at making intricate ideas tangible and getting seemingly impossible things done. Most recently, she served as Senior Manager of Events for Expo 2020 Dubai’s Programme for People and Planet, overseeing 229 events over six months. She is CEO & Co-Founder of her own business, Overview Collective, advising and consulting on strategic planning, brand positioning and communications, events, exhibitions, hackathons, and XR (AR, VR, MR) programming and production. Prior to this, Kristin worked at the United Nations over the span of 10 years, including the World Food Programme, the UN SDG Action Campaign/UNDP and UNICEF. She co-created and led the United Nations Virtual Reality programme, launching such celebrated titles as the first VR film, Clouds Over Sidra and the first AR film, Disrupting Hunger, Yes We AR!
