Jennie Lamensdorf
Jennie Lamensdorf is an arts worker based in Los Angeles, CA. She is the Partnerships Lead for Facebook Open Arts, which exists to build community through creativity. Lamensdorf cultivates creative engagements that offer new ways of thinking about ourselves, our communities, and the world at large. Her work is committed to supporting artists and expanding audiences for the art of our time by bringing challenging and engaging art experiences to non-traditional platforms. She believes the power of art is to encourage thoughtfulness, empathy, and creative problem solving.
Previously, she held positions as the Bay Area Lead of Facebook Open Arts (San Francisco), the Director and Curator of Time Equities Inc. Art-in-Buildings (NYC), and co-Founder of Forward Union (NYC).
