J. Soto
J. Soto is an arts worker and writer invested in amplifying the shared histories and experiences of Queer People of Color and Disabled People. He believes in equitable institution-building and providing access to resources and support for visual artists and performers. His writing can be found in Original Plumbing, Apogee Journal: Queer History, Queer Now Folio, American Realness 2018 Reading series, Jacob’s Pillow Dance Interactive, Grant Makers in the Arts GIA Reader, and Dance/USA. Soto's work is deeply influenced by his experiences as a Queer Transgender Latino who grew up in the Bay Area, with roots in Southern Arizona and the borderlands.
