MICROPOLITAN STUDIO is an art and design collective led by Delara Rahim, Francisco Brown, and Jimmy Pan, aiming to create critical connections in the built environment with human stories through urbanism, architecture, and art practices. The Studio was founded on the idea that 'small interventions have big impacts.'
The mission of Micropolitan Studio is to advocate for more inclusive forms of human experience by seeking to express multiplicity across scales and revealing the joy of democratic space. Their research-based projects engage the world through data visualization, communication design, and public art. They experiment with materials and technologies to design books, produce art installations, curate exhibitions, and propose architectural and urban interventions.
