Sheetal Prajapati
Sheetal Prajapati is the Interim Managing Director of Common Field and founder of Lohar Projects, an arts and culture advising agency. Her areas of expertise include public engagement, strategic visioning, and organizational change. Prajapati serves on faculty at the School of Visual Arts (New York) in the Master of Fine Arts program and is the Board Chair of Art + Feminism. Represented by Serendipity Literary Agency, she is currently working on her first two book projects.
Previously, Prajapati spent fifteen years developing public engagement, outreach, and artist-centered initiatives at organizations including Pioneer Works (Brooklyn), The Museum of Modern Art (New York) and the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago. Shel received her MA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a BA from Northwestern University.
