Luisa Pereira
Luisa Pereira is an musician, artist, and engineer based in Brooklyn. Her interactive music pieces have been shown internationally: venues include the Museum of Contemporary Art in Santiago de Chile, the Loop Summit in Berlin, and the New Museum's art and technology incubator in New York City, where she was an inaugural member. As a creative technologist, Pereira has created a range of boundary-pushing musical installations and experiments in New York City, working with clients such as Google Creative Lab, Pandora, and Listen on collaborations with musicians including Björk, St. Vincent, and Little Dragon. As an educator, she has developed curricula for the NYC Department of Education and worked with the Processing Foundation. Pereira is assistant arts professor at NYU Tisch's ITP / IMA, and has also taught in Shanghai, Berlin and Montevideo.
