Kathleen Forde
Forde is the Senior Curator at Superblue (formerly PaceX). Superblue’s mission is to amplify artists’ voices on issues of global relevance and champion artists whose ideas are best expressed through large-scale immersive installations.
Prior to Superblue, Forde was the Artistic Director for Borusan Contemporary, a collection-based museum for media arts in Istanbul. From 2005 to 2012 she was the Curator of Time-Based Visual Arts at the Experimental Media and Performing Arts Center (EMPAC) in Troy, NY. Forde has also held positions as the Curatorial Director New Media at the Goethe Institut Internaciones in Berlin and Assistant Curator for Media Arts at SFMOMA.
Forde has also worked as an adjunct curator for the Eyebeam Center for Art and Technology; Audemars Piguet; The University of Michigan Museum of Art (UMMA); Independent Curators International; The Transmediale Festival, Berlin; Issue Project Room, Brooklyn, the Rotterdam Film Festival; and the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
