Emma Buttin
Emma Buttin is passionate about projects at the crossroads between culture and technology. She holds master's degrees in Political Sciences and in Management of Cultural Activities as a graduate from ESCP - Paris Business School. As a cultural project leader for 7 years, she worked at ARTER production agency (arter.net) to develop innovative public art programs (ex. call for art+tech projects for the Greater Paris Transportation Network, an audiovisual program in new train stations designed by Jean Nouvel in Geneva). She was the head of the residency program at La Gaîté Lyrique, a digital art center in Paris, (gaite-lyrique.net) and helped curators, studios and artists on their projects. She was also part of the team of the festival NewImages in Paris, dedicated to immersive experiences. She is currently an Officer for New Media at the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in the US and promotes French and American cooperation.
