Dahkil Hausif
As a griot, Dahkil Hausif lives to empower himself and others through the passion of storytelling. Dahkil's expertise reside in the realms of writing, directing, film editing, and professional voice-over work. For 25 years he has been using his talents to craft stories that are often not told in the modern media, while also achieving success in the commercial world. As a writer and director, his work has aired on HBO and BET. As a film editor, Dahkil has cut commercial advertising for Pepsi, Verizon, Beats, Bvlgari, and Ford. He has also voiced work for MSNBC, Canon, Howard Stern, and for ESPN’s 30 for 30 commercials. In 2016, Hausif joined the NEW INC community to develop social-justice-based virtual reality projects and has been a mentor at NEW INC for the past two years.
